The Association, in a framework of social solidarity, aims to concretely and proactively co-operate with the Botanical Garden of the University of Parma, in respect of the educational-scientific and historical-architectural commitments which form the basis of the Botanical Garden itself:

1. through education, using social or cultural events in the respect for and love of the environment in general, and in particular, for plants;
2. in awareness raising and involvement of the visitors to the Parma Botanical Garden in the basics of preservation and protection of the environment;
3. in the preservation, protection, and development of the collections of the Botanical Garden of Parma as well as the reconstruction of environment and habitat;
4. in the spreading of botanical and environmental knowledge, by collaborating with the facilities and the personnel of the Botanical Garden and through them, with those who share the same goals;
5. in maintaining the Botanical Garden, which, with its exceptional scientific, historical and architectural background, represents an institution and a unique place in the cultural context of Parma; also from a financial point of view, through initiatives that the Association will take in agreement with the Management and the goals of the Botanical Garden.
